John A. Ourednik

John studied Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University and was commissioned into the US Navy in December of 2001. He served 8 years on Active Duty, serving onboard the USS Chicago (SSN-721) stationed at Pearl Harbor Submarine Base. He also taught nuclear engineering principles to junior sailors at a training unit in Charleston, SC, and taught advanced submarine tactics to submarine crews stationed in Point Loma, CA.

After leaving the Navy, he studied law at Chicago-Kent’s evening law school program while working for Tyco Electronics during the day and serving in the Naval Reserves on the weekends. John graduated with cum laude honors and a certificate in Intellectual Property. After law school, he practiced at small boutique firms -primarily in the intellectual property areas of law - for 6 years.

In his current practices, he enjoys helping clients make estate plans, buy and sell real property, and navigate the probate process for loved ones.

John currently lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with his wife and four children.
